This is the story of 2 people. 2 wanderers, 2 travelers, 2 adventurers, 2 sinners, 2 romantics, 2 best friends, 2 lovers, 2 partners, 2 supporters, 2 companions, 2 patriots who found each other. In this big, vast world, in this little city in the middle of the desert, in the middle of the country, these 2 people from opposite coasts caught each others eye, and well the rest is history.
It started in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico at this bar where these 2 people came out on a warm June night to see some live music. Now Billy, he is one of the 2, came outside to get some fresh air. Leaning against a light post, hair slicked back, cuffs rolled he watched. And then there she was, Annaka, the other one of the 2. "Floating like an angel" he said. (Very sweet.) She swayed side to side, walking down the street, alone, toward the bar. He said he was watching her come... she was oblivious until she locked eyes with him in front of the bar. (She thought he was HOT!) He asked, "going inside?" She said yes. And that's where the love story began. She says she knew there was possibility that very night. He said he knew that night during their first dance.
The plan was made to go camping just 2 weeks from that Friday night. Who knew that camping trip would kick off a summer of exploration and travel. Every single day since that day 1, we have spoken and most of the days we have been in each others presence. The best is yet to come. So as we chronicle our adventures... because there are many, enjoy in the journey and beauty of life and love with us.
